Community Spotlight: The New Gosfield Communications Community Centre We’re kicking off September with some incredible news — the brand-new $3 million Cottam facility is opening this month!
Thanks to a $250,000 contribution from Gosfield Communications Co-operative, this vibrant new hub will proudly carry our name as the Gosfield Communications Community Centre.
This beautiful space was designed for the whole community to enjoy, featuring:
 A modern community hall & kitchen
A large outdoor covered pavilion
A refreshed library branch with expanded programming
Wi-Fi and audio/visual equipment provided by Gosfield
A permanent historical display celebrating the story of Cottam

Fibre Expansion: Building for the Future
And that’s not the only exciting news! Gosfield has been working hard to expand our fibre network — and 2025 has already been one of our most ambitious years yet.
Projects Completed
2023–24: $3M project upgraded 1,100 homes in our core service area from copper to fibre. Spring 2025: $750K build brought fibre to 303 homes in eastern Kingsville township.
 Work Underway in 2025 Six new phases are now in progress, a $1M investment extending fibre to 350 additional homes by year-end. Coming Soon: Our Largest Expansion in a Decade

A game-changing $5M investment by Gosfield and Quadro that will deliver Gosfield Fibre to over 1,100 more homes: 500 homes in Ruthven 600 homes south along Lake Erie Completion expected Spring 2026 This is more than an upgrade, it’s about connecting more families, powering smarter homes, supporting businesses, and keeping our communities future-ready.
