In this edition, we’re sharing three key updates that reflect our commitment to members—this year’s patronage payment, the fibre construction projects strengthening our communities, and our recent amalgamation with Quadro Communications.

2025 Patronage Payment

We are pleased to confirm that patronage credits will be issued on December 2025 bills. This reflects the strong progress Gosfield has made over the past three years and our commitment to returning value directly to members.
Your support has strengthened our financial results and reinforced the cooperative principles we stand by:people before profit and reinvestment in our community.

Patronage Credit Amounts
Your credit will appear on your December invoice.
One Service: $10                   Two Services: $20              Three Services: $30
Credits are per service type. Multiple agreements of the same service type receive one credit.

Community Contribution
This year, Gosfield contributed $250,000 toward the new Gosfield Communications Community Centre located in Cottam, which includes:

• A modern hall and kitchen
• An outdoor covered pavilion
• A refreshed library branch
• Wi-Fi and A/V equipment funded by Gosfield

Construction Projects for 2025

Gosfield is investing again in expanding fibre to more homes.
Ruthven / Kingsville Expansion
A major two-year project with a $5.0M budget is underway. This build will extend fibre:

• South of Highway 3
• Through the village of Ruthven
• Along Union Avenue toward the lake
• To homes below Seacliff

2025 Mini-Expansions
We are also completing several smaller extensions to reach homes just beyond our current fibre areas.

• Will add fibre availability to 350 additional potential customers
• $1.0M total investment

These projects demonstrate our long-term commitment to providing rural communities with fast, reliable fibre internet.

Amalgamation Update

Gosfield North Communications Co-operative Ltd. and Quadro Communications Co-operative Inc. will officially amalgamate on January 1, 2026.
This partnership brings together two long-standing, community-owned organizations with shared values and deep local roots.

What This Means for You:
