Gosfield is determined to bring cutting-edge technology to all of its subscribers, and as such, has budgeted and planned an upgrade of approximately 250 legacy copper subscribers to fibre optics in 2023. This marks a significant milestone for the company and will be the largest number of homes upgraded in a single year - refocusing the co-op towards improving services for its members. Construction is scheduled to commence in the spring.
Gosfield remains optimistic and focused on delivering fibre optics to all remaining legacy copper customers as soon as possible. We are committed to finding any and all funding opportunities available to assist in these projects and will immediately expand construction plans if additional funding is secured.

The selection of areas chosen for upgrades was a result of a comprehensive evaluation process, taking into account multiple factors such as trouble reports, customer feedback, proximity to existing fiber infrastructure, and an assessment of the current underground infrastructure. A separate notice of construction will be sent out to all affected subscribers before each phase begins.
