As we step into the month of August, families are making the most of their final vacations before the kids return to school. It remains a busy time for many individuals and businesses.


Our construction project remains at the forefront of our focus, with all efforts and resources dedicated to its success. We are proud to share that we are currently ahead of our plan. The exciting news is that we are reviewing work initially scheduled for the 2024 construction season to bring forward into this year. We are optimistic about the availability of resources and favorable timing, and we are hopeful that county and town permits will be made available promptly.

In the first phase of our project, which involved laying the main fiber optic infrastructure along County Road 34 W, west of Cameron Sideroad, we have successfully completed the task. As a result, 83% of the homes in this area have already been upgraded and are now enjoying the benefits of fiber connectivity. Moving on to the second phase, which focused on County Road 27 W, William, Clark, Lyle, and Francis, the work has been completed, and we have begun calling on our members to book their upgrade appointments. So far, 33% of the homes have been upgraded. Phase Three, encompassing Road 11/North Talbot (west of Cameron), has also been successfully completed, and we will soon be notifying homeowners of their upgrade appointments.

Currently, we are working on Phase Four, which includes the streets Laird, Fox, Delmer, Hill, Klundert, Elwood, and Stockwell. We have already commenced work on Fox Street, and our plan is to complete this area by late August. After the installation, we will gradually connect our valued customers over the subsequent months.


In June, we proudly launched the Gosfield1 Community Channel. This channel aims to celebrate our local community by showcasing various interests and capturing the richness of life within it. From local events and community organizations to important milestones such as births, passings, birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations, we strive to encompass the entire spectrum of life. If you are hosting community or charity events and celebration milestones ad’s are free of charge. For business or service providers, we invite you to connect with your community by advertising your services with affordable, quality ads that shine brightly.

Customer Focus

In July, we launched a new customer satisfaction program at Gosfield, aimed at gathering valuable feedback from our customers. Through our Customer Feedback Surveys, we send out a survey link after each service call. Since the launch, we have received an impressive response, with a 39% response rate, significantly higher than the industry norm of 10% to 30%. We asked nine questions, and 94% of the respondents provided us with an outstanding/excellent experience score. We are grateful to everyone who participated in the survey as your feedback is vital to us. We also encourage you to use our Referral Card Program. If you refer a non-customer, both you and your referral can enjoy a $50 discount on your next or first bill. Furthermore, we love receiving positive reviews on Facebook and Google.
